my professional goal in life is to have more information available for parents of children with rare chromosome disorders and it is fascinating to see what can be achieved by teaming-up with the families involved”

Barbara Frentz – Chromosome 6 Project manager, webmaster, physician for people with intellectual disabilities (AVG) in training.

“for the chromosome 6 research project we already collected (and are still collecting) a lot of information about rare chromosome 6 deletions and duplications trough parents. The project is therefore truly with parents and for parents. The ultimate goal is to create an interactive webpage to give this information back to the parents, this has never been done before. The parents are very enthousiastic and the encouraging emails we receive make me want to reach the goal even more”
